UPDATE | Back to Blogging, University & Grad Ball!

Hello everyone! I hope you're all doing really well, I know it has certainly been a while. These past few months have been extremely busy for me - I have now completed University and await my final results - a prospect which is both terrifying and exciting all at the same time! I also work part time at Boots now after having my contract renewed by them and so begins the next chapter of my life in which I figure out what the heck I want to do with it!

Something important to me within all this is that I maintain the time to blog and more importantly, to actually start it again after being absent for so long. To ease myself back into the blogging sphere again, I thought I'd do a post on a recent event I attended; my Graduation Ball!

Princess vibes.
BCU's Graduation Bal is essentially a massive party and fancy dinner in which 2016 grad students from BCU gather to have a well deserved night of fun! Our Ball was held at Birmingham's ICC and included a 3 course meal, a DJ set from Radio 1's MistaJam and to my delight, a cup of tea too. Now, let's get on to the good stuff; my outfit.

I wore a beautiful mauve, full length dress from AX Paris - this dress was extremely affordable at only £50 but was given several compliments and made me feel like an actual Princess, seriously. The dress has beautiful lace embroidery at the top and a low cut design at the chest - it is made extremely well and it saddens me that I can't wear it every day!

The day and night overall was awesome and I got it to spend with some of my favourite people - I have made some great friends over these past 3 years, friends I know I will have in my life for years to come. It is weird to say that University is pretty much over but it's incredibly exciting too, I'm looking forward to what is to come and I'm proud of my achievements and developments so far!

Here's to the next chapters that my life are to bring and to great friends, awesome memories and of course, much more blogging to come!
