MOTD: Smokey Cat Eye.

My look makeup look today involved a more intense than usual cat eye with a nude lip. Keep reading and I shall explain how I did each bit of this look!

To begin, I applied moisturiser to my clean, bare face and a little bit of eye serum as well. I took my Real Techniques buffing brush and buffed in my foundation. After this, I applied concealer under my eyes and on any blemishes. I set everything with powder and then began on my eyebrows and eyes.

I brushed my brows through with an eyebrow comb and then lightly filled them in with a medium brown brow powder. After filling my brows in, I again brushed over them just get rid of any access brow powder. After the brows, I moved into my eyes and I firstly primed them with a little concealer. I then applied a shimmery champagne eye shadow to my lids and in the crease and outer corner, I applied a little bit of dark brown. After this, I blended it all to remoce any harsh lines and then applied liquid eyeliner to my top lids and flicked it on. Following on from the flick on top of my eye, I lined my bottom waterline from my outer corner and three quarters of the way in. I smugded the eyeliner to make it look my smokey and then applied mascara. I highlighted my brow bone and inner eye with a shimmery white eye shadow. And the eyes are complete!

Back onto the face, I contoured using my Sleek Face Form palette. I sucked in my cheeks and followed the hollow created by brushing over the contour powder with it. I blended this out with my buffing brush a little and then applied a peachy blush from the same palette to my cheeks. After that, I took the highlight colour from the palette and brushed it over my cheeks and length of my nose. Once again I set everything with a little bit of powder.
On the lips, I applied a nude coloured lipstick and then dabbed some face powder onto them to give the lips this 60's inspired matte effect!

And we are done! There you have it. A smokey cat eye look with a nude lip. This is a really versatile look and it will look beautiful on anyone. Have fun if you give this a go and thanks so much for reading!
